Drs. Anil Rustgi, Jonathan Braun & more: 6 gastroenterologists making headlines - Becker's ASC Review

Here are six gastroenterologists featured in the news in the past two weeks:

Marquis Who's Who profiled Roswell-based Eastern New Mexico Medical Center's gastroenterology chief, Daniel Ridout III, MD.

New York City-based Columbia University Irving Medical Center and NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center named Anil Rustgi, MD, director of the Herbert Irving Comprehensive Cancer Center, pending trustee approval.

Nicholas Inverso, MD, will practice out of Evangelical Community Hospital's Lewisburg, Pa.-based practice, effective Jan. 14, 2019, NorthcentralPA.com reports.

Gastroenterologist Satish Iduru, MD, aims to create a network of independent physicians to help independent physicians achieve business savings with his new organization, Doctors IPA. The Doctors IPA network can negotiate as a group on behalf of members to achieve savings in payroll services, malpractice insurance, home insurance and credit card processing .

Los Angeles-based Cedars-Sinai Inflammatory Bowel and Immunobiology Research Institute tapped Jonathan Braun, MD, PhD, to serve as director of enterprise operations.

Rita Ritsema, MD, will now see patients out of the Havertown, Pa.-based location of Bryn Mawr Medical Specialists Association.

foot and mouth disease animals :: Article Creator 151 Animals Destroyed In Foot And Mouth Battle The number of animals killed in the foot-and-mouth outbreak which has hit farms in Al Hayer has risen to 151. Three farms in Al Hayer, located 85 kilometres south-east of Dubai on the Dubai to Al Ain Road, have reported that animals there have the disease. Yesterday the farm owners confirmed that 101 cows and 50 goats had been destroyed. The additional cases were reported less than 48 hours after Ali Arab, Head of the Livestock Department at the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, had declared that the UAE was foot-and-mouth free.
