Mayo Clinic ranked best hospital for adult gastrointestinal care - Healio

Mayo Clinic tops U.S. News & World Report’s 2019-2020 Best Hospitals rankings for adult gastroenterology and gastrointestinal surgery.
“Receiving recognition as the top hospital for gastrointestinal care for adults is a testament to the tremendous team we have at the Mayo Clinic,” Edward V. Loftus, Jr., MD, of Mayo Clinic, told Healio Gastroenterology and Liver Disease. “I am honored to be a part of this team and look forward to continuing to provide excellent care to all of our patients with myriad of gastrointestinal conditions.”
Other hospitals ranked in the top 10 for adult gastroenterology care and gastrointestinal surgery are:
- Cedars-Sinai Medical Center;
- Johns Hopkins Hospital;
- Cleveland Clinic;
- Massachusetts General Hospital;
- UCLA Medical Center;
- Mayo Clinic-Phoenix;
- UPMC Presbyterian Shadyside;
- Mount Sinai Hospital; and,
- New York-Presbyterian Hospital-Columbia and Cornell.
Additionally, the Mayo Clinic ranked first in this year’s Honor Roll, which highlights 20 hospitals that deliver exceptional treatment across multiple areas of care. This is the fourth straight year Mayo Clinic topped the Honor Roll.
