Police Looking For Suspects Accused Of Stealing Puppy From Chantilly Pet Store
CHANTILLY, Va. (DC News Now) — Fairfax County police are still searching for the suspects who stole a puppy from a pet store in Chantilly last month.
The Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) is looking for two suspects who stole a female Maltipoo from a pet store located in the 14000 block of Chantilly Crossing on Oct. 16 just before 7 p.M.
FCPD said the puppy was on sale when the two suspects went into the store, took the puppy and left the store without paying.

A surveillance video shared with DC News Now shows two men walking into the store through the front entrance on that day in October.
"They seemed like they were customers," Ayman Koshok said, describing the video. "They walk to the front of the store … [then] they walk into the employee authorized area and they literally open one of the kennel windows and took a dog out."
What's seen next on the video is the men waiting until the manager went to help another customer before walking out the front door with the puppy.
"Never seen anything like that before," Koshok said.
Koshok said his biggest worry is the safety and well-being of the dog.
"What these guys did is absolutely wrong, and it's definitely a crime," he said. "We take really great pride in placing these puppies in the best homes possible. Not knowing where it is, is really haunting us."
